When you choose to play a hand like A-8 in preflop holdem, you need to know that you are playing a risky approach.  The problem in the flop after you have decided to play thorough preflop holdem will be that there can be lot of possibilities for substantial bets from strong hands to beat you up or in other cases they might make the situation costly for you to play the hand.  Players that are in a solid hand will always want to pay some high stake betting to identify the potential of the opponent. So, you decision to hit past preflop holdem to the flop will make the reason to be heads up of long shot scope, that can be possibly killed by better hands.

The next kind of risky hand that we might decide to play in preflop holdem is something like A-10 where you might count on chances to make a pair or a high hand because you have an Ace and a good higher than eight hand, but we need to consider the consequences of someone else with pairs of high cards like AA, KK, QQ, JJ etcetera! However, in cases where there are not high pair pockets you can still try but you need to be sure you do not have aggressive opponents, because a single improvement is enough for them to exhaust you from your chips.  You might have to hit a highly favorable board, and even if you hit, someone with a better high face is going to have an equal opportunity.  Many times A-10 is a risky hand to play past preflop holdem unless you are playing against worse fishes.

There can be many cases where we will play limp pre-flop holdem with knowing for sure that it is a risky start.  If there is going to be an aggressive BB in cases of limp starts they might probably but themselves and you in check for strength.  Aggressive guys are not those against that you can play limps.  They will turn the game to be miserable for the whole room; however, if you think you might have a corner you can just go all in and sit back to see how the side pot grows and you can wait for your result for the all ins. If the hand you hold is clearly not having a scope and the BB raise was a shock to you better fold and save your money!
